JANINE STELLATOS (Director of Metro World Child Kenya-International)

We are delighted to welcome JANINE STELLATOS to CBC on Saturday 10th November 2018. Born in Scotland, Janine lived and worked in England most of her life. Janine has been involved with Metro on a voluntary capacity since 1994 and in 2006, came on as staff in the Metro UK office. In June 2012, she left the UK and moved to Kenya to devote herself to work there. Since she was a 5-year-old little girl who gave her life to Christ, Janine knew she had been called to be a missionary in Africa and when she met Pastor Bill and came to know Metro, she knew this was a call from God and never questioned it since. She counts it her joy and utmost honour to serve God through Metro which was founded by Pastor Bill Wilson in 1980, Metro World Child has worked to rescue hurting children and offer a message of salvation and love that encourages them to stay in school and away from gangs and other destructive or criminal behaviours so common in inner-city environments. Metro meets both spiritual and physical needs through long-term one-on-one relationships, mentorship, child sponsorship and visitation.

We were excited to welcome Reverend Christian P Lodewyk who ministered in CBC on 29th September 2018. Mr Lodewyk is a gifted speaker who has spent time in leading positions within the church in South Africa and for the South African truth and reconciliation process, including the organization which handled disputes and monitored violence during South Africa’s post-apartheid transition. Chris Lodewyk has a lifelong passion for putting into practice what he believes in, not matter the cost.

Bengt Wedemalm

Exciting News! We are always grateful to Bengt who returns to CBC every year to teach on evangelism. We welcomed back Bengt Wedemalm to CBC on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th February 2018.  Bengt is a dynamic preacher and pioneer who has been in ministry for over 30 years. Bengt travels extensively and has ministered in over 60 nations of the world. Bengt has been involved in planting churches in all the former communist countries and also reaches out extensively into many Islamic nations.

Riley Stephenson

Riley Stephenson is the Minister of Evangelism for Kenneth Copeland Ministries. He teaches, trains, equips and mobilizes churches to go into their ‘world’ and bring in a harvest of souls into the Kingdom. Riley’s mission is to help equip Christians to successfully take the good news of God’s love to a lost and dying world and confidently lead anyone to salvation in Christ.

Graduates and current students of Coventry Bible College were welcomed to attend and learn from Riley Stephenson who is the Evangelist for Kenneth Copeland Ministries, USA on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th September 2017. He took the whole weekend to teach on evangelism and then the students were able to put into practice what Riley taught as they went out onto the streets with Riley on the Saturday afternoon. Riley sees multitudes of people coming to the Lord as he preaches and does outreaches across the United States and that was no different on this occasion in Coventry City.

Bill Wilson

On Saturday 21st October 2017, we were privileged to host Bill Wilson for the morning lectures. He heads up Metro Ministries, New York. Bill buses in thousands of children every week to Kids Club from the Bronx and other needy areas of Brooklyn. Each child is then visited in their home on a weekly basis by a volunteer. This may well be the only chance they have to hear the gospel and see the love of Jesus demonstrated to them in the tough environment they live in. Bill Wilson is a passionate preacher with an unquenchable passion for these kids. Pastor Bill established Metro World Child (formerly Metro Ministries) in 1980 in what was one of Brooklyn’s roughest neighbourhoods, the Bush wick community, most commonly known for its history of gang violence, crime, drugs, and poverty. Here, violence is a way of life and a constant threat. Pastor Bill has been beaten, stabbed and shot in the face. Yet, he perseveres and refuses to leave the area or give up on the children growing up in such an environment. Because of that, his efforts have made a difference, not only in the lives of children but in the community as well.If you would like to further information or you have any inquiries please feel free to  Contact us for more information.
